In 2014 PRC completed works on the Kewdale workshop. The works scope included replacement of the existing asbestos cement roof sheeting and wall sheeting, including replacement of insulation, fibreglass skylight/vents and mouldings on steel purlins of the workshops. Removal and disposal of all asbestos cement roof cappings and penetration surrounds. Replacement of existing bulk insulation material in the ceiling/roof space/ under roof and wall sheeting. PRC thoroughly removed and cleaned gable ends, guttering, roof plumbing and redundant ducts.

We carried out a thorough decontamination or asbestos dust, debris/residue and pigeon droppings from the ceiling/roof space including the roof support structure.

The newly installed product was a colorbond corrugated .48 roof profile, which included curved sheeting. New slope mounted roof vents and polycarbonate ridge capping in lieu of metal.

PRC worked in closely with the client to allow sufficient time for them to relocate the workshop equipment, and still provide them with access to the workshop equipment when needed.
