PRC Building Services Pty Ltd were the successful bidder on an asbestos removal and re-cladding project in Esperance, Albany and Bunbury.

This Project was completed in May 2017.

The Scope of Works for the three locations (multiple buildings) include;

Covering all equipment/machinery with tarpaulins to prevent hook bolts, asbestos and other foreign bodies from contaminating products throughout the demolition process.

Removing all asbestos in line with The Code of Practice For The Safe Removal of Asbestos [NOHSC:2002(2005)]. Including air monitoring, analysis reporting and clearance of asbestos fibres. Removing roof and wall sheeting contaminated with Asbestos contaminated materials. Installation of new roof and wall cladding to the nominated sheds.

Removal and replacement of gutters, some in 2.0mm stainless steel. Removal and replacement of downpipes , replacement of internal liner in box gutters and replacement of nominated purlins. Replacement of all associated flashings and fixings.

The Roof and wall areas were being accessed via Elevated Work Platforms and code compliant scaffolding.

The works have been carefully scheduled to minimise production delays
